Margee Murray

Margee has been performing since she was five years old. She has attended theater arts schools since fifth grade and is currently a junior in high school at the Pinellas County Center for the Arts, at Gibbs High School majoring in Musical Theater. Recent performances include, Metamorphoses (Midas Daughter), Me and My Girl (Ensemble), The Sound of Music (Louisa) Urinetown: the musical (Dr. Billeaux), The Leader of the Pack (Pattie), The Wizard of Oz (Ensemble), and Nights of Fright (Ensemble). She enjoys working around Pinellas county in various community theaters, and you will catch her at almost every audition.

Her hobbies are pissing off brunettes and never learning to drive.

Janice's background is in community theater, where some of her favorite roles include Desdemona in Othello, Celie in The Color Purple and Song Liling in M. Butterfly.

Fearing that she was getting typecast, and after almost dying in an accident involving a convertible with the top down, a beehive hairdo and an illegally low interstate overpass, she found herself performing as Ellie Greenwich in 60s musical Leader of the Pack.

There she met Susie and Margie, and the Sixties Chicks were born.

"What initially attracted me about the Sixties Chicks concept was the money", says Susie. She confesses that when she heard that she could wear leopard skin boots her decision was made.
